Man is by nature a social creature. It is a basic human need to have those around you who can be trusted. The collective can serve to relax, lead to joy and be a meaningful filling of our free and working time. Together with others, a person can better face the fundamental threats of the present, such as radicalization of society or deteriorating mental health. We move in different collectives (family, work, partnership, society), which we often do not choose voluntarily. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the position of the individual within the collective and to consider its extreme states. How to communicate and coexist in a healthy and responsible way? Can we live and create together in one collective?

The first season of HaDivadlo under the collective artistic direction of Jana Vaverková, Justina Grecová and Jan Dolež. With a collective approach to leadership, we want to inject fresh impetus into the functioning of the contemporary Czech theatre scene, break the tendencies towards competitiveness and directivity and replace them with sharing and dialogue. The key concept is listening as a gesture that leads to a balance of power, ethical receptivity and interpersonal engagement.
