Season 45: Resources

Sustainable development continues to be unsustainable, resources are nearing exhaustion. At least since the days of the Industrial Revolution and the beginning of the Anthropocene era, the black conscience of people has been too dark. We fly recklessly, consume unecologically and too often, burn coal and oil, we are units of the growth market mechanism, thereby keeping gigantic corporations ravaging nature on an unprecedentedly massive scale, and ignore reports of possible solutions coming from all sides. How to break the fall? What if we have enough of our problems? Is it time for nihilism? Or is the climate crisis more an opportunity to reconstruct the concept of “humanity” as the return of a common — and co-responsible — project produced not by any ideology, but by the indisputable need of our planet, which is becoming a new actor of history? And what other projects does the effort to save the planet bring? Should we continue to think only about waste sorting and electric cars? Believe in technological progress? Or do we have to be the solution ourselves? It's time to rethink our personal dreams and life strategies. Time to rethink the essence of our society, which no longer illuminates the darkness of nature with the light of civilization, but brings the darkness of its own. Sustainability. Activism and slowing down. Don't grow. All this places completely new tasks on our perception and its complexity. That's why we're dedicating our 45th season to the topic of RESOURCES! The future is now. Enter it with us!
