Season 42: Me and Them
Europe stands at a crossroads. Pragmatism, hopelessness, narcissism, capitalism, refugees, Brexit, czexit, exit, cancellation!
The uncertainty generated by today's turbulent globalisation, when everything is so far away and so close at the same time, creates fear and uncertainty. The world seems like a hostile, chaotic and cold place. Bigotry alternates nihilism. There comes a desire for clarity. Desire for home. A home whose form creates impenetrable boundaries! Here we are and there they are. A definition of negation that says “I am what you are not! “But then who are we? Our 42nd season is dedicated to the topic of SELF-REFLECTION, the only way to see ourselves through self-doubt and to know the common essence of our fear. Because it is quite possible that in our pampered insecurity, we end up together unexpectedly. It is high time to understand that the global problems of today must be approached by ALL of US! But how to rise above our stereotypical views of the world and see the falsity of the boundaries of ME and THEM?! How old are you?
