From evening to Jan... or Back and back again There and back again

Evening directed by HaDi Staré & Guests. A joint meeting on the occasion of the unlived 78th birthday of the legendary actor, poet and versatile creator, long-time member and friend of our theatre. We are waiting for a composed program consisting of Ján's poems, archival photos, video recordings and even surprises. All who wish to commemorate the life and work of this great theatre artist are welcome.

Ján Sedal (1948—2025)

He was born in 1948 in Bratislava. He was a Slovak poet, actor and director who lived and created most of his life in Brno. He majored in puppet acting at DAMU. He was a member of the White Theatre, the ensemble Křesadlo and since 1982 a key actor of HaDivadlo, first in Prostějov and since 1985 in Brno. He has also performed in Arše, with the ensemble Vosto5, as well as in independent projects, films and television. For his lifetime mastery in alternative theatre, he received the Thalia Award and he also devoted himself to theatre work as an author.
