Moravian Kras
A multimedia dive into a landscape beyond man.

Is there still a wilderness? Author's audiovisual production by Peter Gonda about the unclear boundary between untouched nature and what humanity projects into it.
The Moravian Karst is enacted as a protected landscape area, a bounded, delimited and corrected territory. It is also the recorder of thousands of years of human activity: in the Cave of Kůlna, the residence of Neanderthal man from 120,000 years ago was documented, and the settlement now known as Brno gradually grew near Stránská skála. Mineral wealth was marked by mining and industrial tradition, while forests, on the contrary, became the projection screen of urban dreams about nature, to which one can visit for a relaxing visit. Paintings from the distant past and the near future. What is the geological layer left behind by human action?
