Description of the production

The stage concert brings to the stage the court speeches of contemporary Russian prisoners of conscience, YouTube convicts, TikTok terrorists, as well as dissidents and often inadvertently engaged artists.

The core of the production are Czech translations of the final court speeches of two dozen cases from recent years, the texts presented in the book (not) last words. Journalists, entrepreneurs, artists, activists, professors, students, children. These are all perpetrators, criminals in Russia, and their voices are given only one slight tinge in the trials. In a transparent cage, but somehow bluntly, they can say what they really think.

The glass cage, the outlines of the accused, the files of the prosecutors, the paragraphs, the hard language of the honorable court. Fear in front of a barrier greater than behind it. Tikkun olam is the remedy of the world. Vladimir Kara-Murza can't get on his feet, Olga Misik clutches a whistle, Ingush elder Malsag Uzhakhov sees a monster fat, predatory, overcast and stack-headed, some official leaned too far out of the window, and Alexei Navalny quotes from the Bible: “This is your hour, the government of darkness. “

The project was based on the book (not) last words in the production of Cruel Mole. The creation of the production financially supported the festival ... the next wave....

Excerpts from the last words of Russian political prisoners are used in the gamewho, despite all the persecution, imprisonment, torture and threat of death, refused to submit to Russia's perverse policy and were not afraid to oppose it. Some of them are already at large (mostly abroad), some are still in prison, and some are no longer alive. They are: Marie Alyokhina, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Malsag Uzhachov, Armen Aramyan, Dmitry Ivanov, Marie Ponomarenko, Viktor Filinkov, Vasily Kuksov, Alla Gutnikova, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Alexei Navalny, Ilya Yashin, Vladimir Metolkin, Marie Dubovik, Andrei Novashin Nikita Uvarov, Yulia Galjaminova, Olga Misik, Andrei Pivovarov, Yegor Zhukov. The play also includes an excerpt from a letter about the returned citizenship of Olga Kiriyenkova, information about the torture by electricity of Ilya Shakursky and Dmitry Pchelincev, about the case of the minor Ani Zhuravlevova, Yegor Starshinov, Kirill Smirnov and Pavel Kushnir.

This will be followed by a debate with the producers.
