A marathon of letter writing with Amnesty International

Sometimes an ordinary letter can change a person's life. Write yours. Join the world's largest human rights action to help people who are being unfairly persecuted and imprisoned. Indeed, in some countries the free opinion or criticism of the powerful is punishable. Lawyers, journalists, as well as participants in demonstrations or human rights defenders are unjustly imprisoned and persecuted around the world. This is what we want to help with the Letter Writing Marathon campaign.

In 2024, there were a total of 516 marathon events in the Czech Republic, at which 19,489 letters against injustice were written.

In case of interest in writing a letter on a laptop, it is necessary to bring your own to the event, printing will be available.
