Indian in Danger
A wild train ride with Einstein. All aboard!

Today, the iconic in-house production directed by Jiří Havelka at HaDivadlo draws inspiration from Einstein’s theory of relativity and the “thought explosion” it triggered. This playful stage experiment demonstrates with wit what Einstein’s discovery means in practice for the space and time we inhabit—and therefore for ourselves.
During the lecture, the theory may seem clear enough. But in everyday reality—where everything is in motion, and every movement affects all others—it quickly becomes far more complicated…
The endless race of motion against time begins right now! …NOW! Lovers literally miss their train. Bicycles are stolen. Snacks and suitcases disappear. Is the train delayed? It’s running. The robbed catches the thief—or wait, does the thief catch the robbed?
Where is this train even going? Zurich? But what if it’s not going anywhere at all? What if, in the end, Zurich comes to the train? And won’t Zurich be late too?
