Debate for puppets

Debate for Puppets is a unique debate format created at DAMU in Prague based on the secret identities of guests and guests.

Neither the audience nor the moderator team know their identity — a puppet acts as each debater.

The project examines how prejudices affect the perception of the debaters and allows one to focus exclusively on ideas, arguments and attitudes, in a humorous and lighthearted form. Currently, Debate for Puppets is regularly presented on the Prague stage ARCHA+, but now it is also moving to the premises of HaDivadlo in Brno.

Debata for Puppets is directed by the duo Doubravka Dostálová and Samuel Špilar, and the regular presenters are Aicha Roubíčková and Jana Vaverková. In addition to the evening version of Debate for Puppets, we also organize a special morning version for school groups, which is accompanied by a tutor program and focuses on Generation Z topics.
